ABOUT ME
HOMETOWN
Tampa, Florida has been my home for the majority of my life. This vibrant and multicultural city combined with its calming waterfront has given me a deep appreciation of staying active outdoors alongside community members.
EARLY EDUCATION
The Academy of the Holy Names served as the foundation of my education. Growing up alongside my classmates from Kindergarten to 12th grade showed me the importance of friendship and gave me a strong sense of belonging.
FAMILY INFLUENCES
My family, especially my parents and grandparents, are my greatest role models. My parents, both lifelong learners, have encouraged me to tackle the world with curiosity and confidence. My grandmother taught me the significance of integrating creativity and mindfulness into daily life, even amid busy schedules.
FAMILY INFLUENCES
CREATIVE ARTS
From stage lights to canvases, the creative arts have been a constant in my life. Theater in middle and high school fostered confidence and teamwork, while photography and painting deepened my self-understanding and allowed me to share my artistic voice.
COLLEGE EDUCATION
Emory University has been my home for the last three years. My college curriculum and hands-on experience in research, clinical, and volunteer settings have deepened my passion for preventative medicine and the power of integrating the humanities in healthcare.
FUTURE ASPIRATIONS
My journey, shaped by family influences, a passion for the arts, and a dedication to preventing suffering, drives my aspiration to become an excellent physician. I aim to continue combining the humanities with medicine to ensure that my patients receive the best possible care and learn to cultivate habits that will benefit them for a lifetime.
